To calculate the number of units needed:

Measure the beam of your swim step. That is the number of units you will need.

Example: For a 14' wide swim step, you will need: 14 SealStop quads.

Q5: Which and how many units do I need?

mono

There are six standard units of SEALSTOP:

For Gunwales, coaming tops and other narrow areas

Mono is a single-spinner unit designed for 6"-10" wide linear, narrow areas.

To calculate the number of units needed:

Measure the length of area in feet. That is the number of units you will need.

Example: For a 9' long gunwale, you will need: 9 SealStop monos.

For areas up to 16" wide or for perimeter protection

Duo is a two-spinner unit designed for 16" wide linear, narrow areas.

To calculate the number of units needed:

Measure the length of area in feet. That is the number of units you will need.

Example: For a 9' long area, you will need: 9 SealStop duos.

For sail boat perimeter protection

Sail is a two-spinner custom unit designed for single-strap installation.

To calculate the number of units needed:

The length of your boat in feet x 2.2. That is the number of units you will need.

Example: For a 16' long sail boat, you will need: 25 SealStop sails.

Trio is a three-spinner unit effective for most swim steps.

To calculate the number of units needed:

Measure the beam of your swim step. That is the number of units you will need.

Example: For a 12' wide swim step, you will need: 12 SealStop trios.

Total protection for docks, piers, floats and platforms

DockMaster is a 12-spinner unit for screw-down installation.

To calculate the number of units needed:

Measure the perimeter of the area in feet. Divide by 4.5. That is the number of units you will need.

Example: For a 6'x12' float, you will need: 8 HarborMasters to protect the float all-around.
